Works in progress

Ever since the end of policy debate season, things here have been quiet. I’ve got some really interesting policy theory work coming along that’s about to post. Hopefully by mid-week I’ll have the first product of some very deep digging in the annals of debate theory, starting with the introduction of O-Res.

The Fremont-Mills debate team will be releasing theory arguments and case components under the GPL so much of it will be available here shortly. Thanks to Millard South’s head coach, Dana Christensen, for the “open source arguments” advocacy, I’ve seen the light on applying the open source concepts of Linux and other free software initiatives to the policy debate world. In fact, GPL will be instrumental in part of our offense this next year, with some of our O-Res advocacy inspired by the philosophy of McKenzie Wark.

Stay tuned…
