Reading the Infinite Bookshelf

Blogging has been light lately, thanks to preparation for Novice Nationals debate and the arrival of my Kindle2. This is a game-changer for me, as I can no longer look at the one or two bookshelves of recent arrivals as my to-do list. Amazon makes it terribly easy to dig yourself into a literary backlog of remarkable proportions.

It’s so efficient and cheap too. The works of Dostoevsky for $4.79? Never before have so many pages of outstanding literature come so quickly and so cheaply. Meanwhile, I’m eager to get back and post in the next few weeks as there’s definitely some Michel Serres inspired posts in the works.
