For me, blogging is an opportunity to synthesize the engagement of philosophy throughout life’s experience. As a professional risk manager who directs enterprise and technology risk for a global financial processor, my fascination continues to be on the difficulty mankind has in perceiving, interpreting and comprehending risk. As Michel Serres, Ulrich Beck, Hans-Georg Gadamer and others have observed, modern man’s hermeneutical framework leaves much to be desired. It is my premise that a great opportunity resides ahead of us for a greater understanding of the world of risk and uncertainty.
